Digital Storytelling for Climate Change
The Need
The Digital Storytelling for Climate Action is a digital knowledge project showcasing the unified story of GIZ’s four programs namely HMCCC, TRANSfer, E2RB, and ProCoast. This aims to portray stories on climate migration, sustainable transport, and coastal and river basin ecosystem protection/rehabilitation. Additionally, this will be used to amplify the impacts of climate change specifically to the vulnerable sectors.
Intervention
ASSIST created a unified story for all the programs highlighted above that will allow the community and beneficiaries to give their own perspectives of the projects.
Our Output/Impact
This was achieved through designing and producing a website in a scrollytelling format, a graphic novel and animated videos that depict the programs’ objectives and impact.
